MARY, MOTHER OF GOD AND HER QUEENSHIP

Mother of God? Who could ever give birth to God? Incomprehensible.
...Wait a minute!!!

Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ( Mt 1:18-25).
Jesus Christ is God (Jn 20:28).
Therefore, Mary is the Mother of God.

Jesus Christ's origins are both divine and human. His nature is of twofold. He is both divine and human. The Word became flesh, full of grace and truth, and lived among us(Jn 1:14).

If the humanity of Jesus Christ has been denied (Jn 8:12-59) and refused to be confessed (2 Jn 7), how much more Mary, Mother of God be denied?
The divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ was fully present in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit.
So long as one can't separate Christ's divinity from His humanity, so too, one can't separate Mary from the Son's divinity. She is the Mother of God.

What of her Queenship?
Mary is not God neither is she a god. She is not worshipped. She is honoured. Those in heaven are not "Gods" except the Most Holy Trinity i.e., the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--Who is but ONE GOD not Three "GODS"; Three Persons in One God.
Firstly She is Queen "through Him,
with Him, and subordinate to Him." Her Queenship is basically a sharing in the royalty of her Son She is the Mother of the Son of God, who is the messianic King. Mary is the Mother of Christ, the Word incarnate. ... "He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David; and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end." (Lk1:32-33) ... Elizabeth greeted the Blessed Virgin, pregnant with Jesus, as "the Mother of my Lord." (Lk 1:41-43)
Secondly, Her Queenship is tired to Her glorious Assumption to heaven. She is Queen of Heaven (ref. Rev 12:1-18). She is not a god. The "queen of heaven" in Jer 7:18 referred to a god worshipped by the Israelites. Mary is the Mother of God.

If Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev 19:26), then Her Mother is the Queen (Rev12:1-18).
If Jesus is the New Adam, then Her Mother is the New Eve.
If Jesus is God, then Her mother is the Mother of God.

To conclude with, in the words of Oscar Lukefahr..."When we honour Mary as Mother of God, we are actually professing our belief that Jesus is truly God. We are not saying that Mary came before God. Rather the Second Person of the Trinity, who existed from all eternity, 'became flesh and lived among us' (Jn1:14)
..."
